PDCHR provides a variety of programs and services to help you connect, coordinate, and collaborate with volunteer leaders like you.

All of our programs are open to the public, and all are free with the exception of the (very affordable!) Leadership Symposium and MasterClass.

  • GO! Workshops focus on gaining conceptual understanding of process topics such as membership retention and growth, volunteer leadership, program planning, partnership, and marketing. These free workshops are led by business or academic experts in the particular topic.
  • CONNECT! Roundtables are "birds of a feather" gatherings to connect folks serving in a particular organizational role.  For example, a session may bring together just the communications directors for a discussion of shared challenges, goals and lessons learned. These free 90 minute roundtables are facilitated by PDCHR.
  • FOCUS! Seminars look at theory and practice for a deeper understanding of organizational leadership dynamics. These free seminars are usually held in partnership with local professional development societies or universities.
  • Our annual LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM is a several-hour retreat for professional development, networking, and celebration of the people and organizations like us that work so hard to elevate the service we provide to our community.
  • The annual MASTERCLASS is an intense two-hour session that offers key, actionable suggestions tuned exactly to the challenges of association management.
  • Check out the 757 Association Leadership Lab for ongoing conversation and coordination opportunities!
